Serious Update....

This is going to be a serious update.

June 6th
Amy loves to play dress up with Papa Mortensen

June 13th

Amy loves to play on the computer. She thinks she is 

practically a 16 year old. She will also help you

put on a necklace at any time during the day.

Her favorite spot to "hide" and play is under

my parents side table. She's goofy.

June 22nd

Amy had a blast playing in the sprinklers.

She is one lucky kid. So spoiled and so adorable.

June 28th and 29th

We drove to California to see my brother and his family.

Zach was re-baptized so we all spent the weekend

together. The drive was long, but we made it and

it was worth it to see Zach and his family. 

We went to the beach and Amy made a 

new friend named Oaklee. 

(My dad is purposely trying to wink)

Amy HATED the sand...

July 18th

Jeff is the coolest dad. He bought Amy a pair of sunglasses. 

She knew that she looked cool in them. 

July 2nd

Amy loves to play in the dirt! This time she was

lucky enough to get MUD!

 

July 7th 

Amy loves to play with her cousin Jake. Amy wouldn't

dare get into the pool with him though, she just splashed 

from the side.

July 10th

We had the honor of meeting the Second Lady of the 

United States -Dr. Jill Biden. She was very pleasant

and one of her secret service men (a friend of Uncle Pete's)

even gave her Mrs. Biden's stuffed animal dog. 

It was love at first sight for Amy. 

It was a long night, her flight was delayed so we

ended up waiting for quite some time. Amy fell and 

hit her head a few times. It was awesome....kinda.

July 14th

Dad went the extra mile and pulled Amy's hair back in a 

fancy, feathery clip! Amy added her favorite necklace

July 16th

Grandma Taylor has been staying with us for the summer.

Grandma Vogl (Oma), Grandma Taylor, Jeff and Amy

made a drive all the way to Idaho and back in one day

so that Grandma could go visit Grandpa Taylor's grave. 

July 18th

Amy graduated from Kids On The Move.

We have really loved Gary (her OT) who has been 

working with her since she came home. 

It has been wonderful to see her grow.

August 8th

Jeff's sister Crystal went into the MTC.

She's headed to Atlanta Georgia. 

She will be a wonderful missionary!

We miss her already!

August 11th

Emily and Tyler got married! Amy looked so dang cute

in her little red dress!

She is so dramatic and entertaining....

Well, there you have it. Almost 2 months worth of 

"catch up." Now that I have an easier way to 

get the pictures to my blog, I promise I will not go 

2 months in between posts.
