The Oakland Temple

The Oakland Temple is absolutely b-e-a-u-tiful!! It was so great to go through with Claudio!

Greatest People Ever!

The best part about going to California was to meet Jeff's favorite friends! I can easily say that they are all the "Greatest People Ever!"

Top: Brandon and Cristina. Holy Smokes! This couple is awesome! I heard so many stories about how fun these two are but never understood the level of "awesome" that they really are! We had a blast being with them! Middle: Alice and daughters Alyssa and Natalie (not pictured is her husband Danny and youngest girl Leslie). Alice also went above any expectations I had for her. She was a wonderful dinner host and is a loving, sweet, humorous person with a wonderful family. Bottom: Claudio! He is the man! It was his righteous decision to go through the temple that brought us to California. He is a wonderful friend to Jeff and is a very generous man. He is so fun to be around and always keeps you guessing!

CALIORNIA '09

We recently had the opportunity to go to Oakland, California where Jeff served his mission. One of Jeff's good friends, Claudio, went through the temple and he asked Jeff to be his escort. We had fun touring around and seeing friends!

The drive was SO long... But totally worth it!!

These are a few of the people that we stopped to visit while we were there. Top Left: This is a man nick-named "Lucky." He lived a few doors down from one of Jeff's apartments. He's a funny old man who just sits on his little porch smoking his pipe. Top Right: This is Sister Holliday. She was very warm and inviting. A very kind member of the ward Jeff was in. Bottom: Barbara and Darlene. These woman were especially close to Jeff while he served. They adore him!! It was so fun to finally meet them. I loved their easy-going conversation and exciting stories.

We spent most of our time in Hayward and Oakland but also went to the

Alameda Naval Base and San Francisco Pier 39 and we also had a burrito

AS BIG AS our HEAD!!
