Amy loves to...

Sorry for the terrible quality of photos but
here are a few things that Amy loves to do
Sign "All Gone"

Wave her hands (this is usually when
she is either excited or dancing)

She likes to "clean" things with her baby wipes

And she loves to watch movies on
mom and dad's bed!

St George Getaway

Last weekend we headed to St George for Grandma Taylor's
86th birthday! We had a lot of fun together. On our way out,
we stopped by the red rock to do a little hiking.
It was a beautiful day!

Good Bye 2011, Hello 2012!

Last year, Jeff and I were in Amy's hospital room
where we (quietly) welcomed the new year as midnight
struck. It was a beautiful moment.
The year 2011 has brought many blessings to
our family. We started out with our baby girl in
the hospital, and now she's home and growing
like a weed! It amazes me how quickly
she has grown into a vibrant, curious, beautiful
talking, crawling, fit-throwing, kiss-giving little girl.

We have had such a wonderful year!! Amy has blessed our lives
in more ways than we can count. She has grown so fast!
She is smart, beautiful and keeps us on our toes!
Here's to another fabulous year - 2012!!

Amy Turns One!

Amy is ONE! It has been the craziest, most emotional, roller coaster,
exhausting, sleepless, joyful, exciting, happy, pleasant and fulfilling
year ever! We had a big open house for Amy to
celebrate her birthday. We had a lot of family and friends
come to see Amy. Here are some pictures of the Birthday Girl!

Jeff ordered this cake for Amy from Costco
We decorated Nana and Papa Mortensen's house
Aunt Crystal hung this sign for Amy

We displayed lots of pictures of Amy, as well
as some of her "Premie" clothes
 and hospital "memorabilia"
like her tiny blood pressure cuffs
and her bilirubin goggles.
Jeff made cotton candy as party favors, he did
a great job! It made buying the cotton
candy machine really worth it :)

Amy was beautiful in the purple dress
that Jeff and I picked out for her.
I know this pic is dark, but I still love it.
 Such a big girl!!
This is her "I'm so excited I can't even stand it" face.
She is such a goofy girl. Definitely not lacking in personality.

We love her! We are so glad that she is ours!
Happy 1st Birthday Amy Alice :)
